[00:07] Today we have some Blue Dream we pulled down from the garden this summer. Once you smell and smoke this, it'll stick with you for the rest of your life.
[00:48] I'm Parker Curtis. Welcome back to another smoke test and strain review. Today we have Blue Dream, grown in the greenhouse this summer. This one is a sativa-dominant hybrid, Blueberry crossed with Super Silver Haze.
[01:23] The parents of Blue Dream — indica-dominant Blueberry crossed with Super Silver Haze — give you a very light, energizing smoke with a real strong blueberry smell and resin-packed buds.
[02:02] Originally bred in California for medicinal use. Very therapeutic, very mellow. A great strain to start with if you want to get into growing and smoking.
[02:30] This is a very warm and uplifting high. You don't get the sharpness you get with some of the other ones.
[02:55] Very tall plant with dense, well-formed buds. The smell really hits you — blueberry all the way through, then you see that haze at the end with frosted buds. One of the larger plants in the greenhouse, most were about six feet tall.
[03:43] About eight to ten weeks flowering time typically. Outdoor you can get up to 25 ounces. Huge yields, legendary yields on this one.
[04:18] Yields on these things are legendary. If you have the space, this is one to try straight in the ground next season. Keep an eye on IPM — all the resin attracts pests like grasshoppers and white flies.

[05:56] Throughout the whole grow, and even in the dried bud, you get this really strong smell of blueberry. Classic for a reason.
[06:30] Main terpenes are myrcene and linalool. Linalool has a calming focusing effect. Coupled with the myrcene, this is a very uplifting strain — great daytime smoke.
[07:25] Blue Dream comes in at about 16% to 20% THC. The indica blueberry genetics take the edge off and really round out the high. Great for creating.
[08:15] Great bud for beginners. Easy huge yields, thick resin on all buds. About eight to ten weeks, super frosty. Once you smoke it and smell it, you'll recognize it for the rest of your life.
